Learning Together...

This week, as part of preparation for the Education Review Office's visit later this term, staff and Board of Trustees members have reflected on the past 3 years at Te Kauwhata Primary. What a lot has been achieved - achievements to be very proud of! We were not only able to provide the ERO team with this comprehensive list, but I also found it most interesting and a great way to find out even more about our wonderful school.

It is also time to celebrate what a fantastic job teachers do! You may have noticed recent advertisements on TV promoting 'Speak UP for Education' - we hope you have! This coming week (8-15 August) we are celebrating what we do, and we hope you will join us and support our message. There has been much publicity of late talking of education in 'crisis' and we know this is far from the truth. Here at Te Kauwhata Primary we value quality education for all children in a warm and caring environment - and we are extremely proud of this! So...are we SPEAKING UP FOR EDUCATION? - of course we are, very loudly and very proudly!
