It has been a few weeks since I have touched base, a very busy few weeks! The school cross country run went very well up on the local domain and this week TKP looks forward to hosting the inter-school cross country event, with those children who qualified at our school event ready to represent us against the Huntly cluster schools.
Our roll is going through a 'growth' spurt at the moment; we have welcomed many new children from the local 'in-zone' area. Currently applications are open for 'out-of-zone' applications for 2012, these close on Thursday 6th October. More information is available from the school office or website www.tkp.school.nz
Last week I had the privilege of being a guest judge for Room 7's Masterchef Cook-off. What a wonderfully tasty selection of dishes the children produced. Below are a few shots of some of the dishes - as you will see some very professionally presented plates of fine food!
